Welcome Moose!

I'm pleased to welcome the newest member of our group, Moose. His father sent me these pictures and a little of Moose's story:

"Here is a picture of Moose, napping on his older brother, Bismarck. Bismarck tolerates the many foibles that Moose is prone to, but Bismarck is quite old for a rottweiler and we expect this may be his last winter.
Moose also likes to sleep with us, swimming around under the blankets, snoring loudly - a minor adjustment on his head angle sometimes stops the snoring. He is also omnivorous, enjoying expensive blends of dog food - no corn please - and brocolli, carrots, oatmeal and cooked people food.
He has learned a couple of obedience tricks such as sit, wait and "Out of the kitchen!"
He was neutered when my wife, Victoria, rescued him. He was the house dog at a Vermont B&B where Victoria went on an equestrian holiday. Moose is a 'designer dog' with a four generation pedigree indicating he is one quarter beagle and three quarters pug. (Probably a puppy mill - but we aren't certain.) His enthusiastic barking annoyed his owners and their training technique consisted mostly of crating with the occasional slap. Victoria said if they didn't want him she would be happy to give him a home. They agreed and Moose moved to Jones Falls where he keeps company with a rotty, two cats and three horses. He is well loved and so darned cute!
