Phoebe and Homer

Now, although Phoebe was named after her parent's favourite character in Friends, and Homer was named after everyone's favourite character in The Simpsons, I find it interesting that their names both come out of ancient Greek tradition. Phoebe was a Titan in Greek mythology, and was the grandmother of Apollo (the sun god) and Artemis (goddess of the forests). Homer was of course the person credited with telling the stories of these larger than life figures in the Iliad and the Odyssey. So all in all I think that we can expect great things from these two.
