Farewell to Golf

The above photo marks the 400th golf ball we found this year (Pinnacle), on our final trip out to the golf course. Heidi blessed this photo with her signature silly look. On this final trip we broke our previous record for golf balls found in a single outing, coming out with a whopping 42! That brought our total to 438 golf balls. Here is the breakdown, as I'm sure you'll all find this as interesting as I do: Titleist (pronounced title ist, not tit leist), 166; TopFlite, 62; Wilson, 31; Pinnacle, 29; Nike, 27; Maxfli, 26; Callaway, 26; Dunlop, 15; Strata, 8; Precept, 8; Spalding, 7; Bridgestone, 6; Hogan, 4; Slazenger, 3; Titech, 3; Srixon, 2; Fantom, 2; Nitro, 2; Intech, 2; Master, 1; RamTour, 1; Cobra, 1; Volvik, 1; Tee Mee, 1; and Unidentified (too old or chewed up by animals), 4.

We've moved! We're free! No more apartment... no more "confined spacies" (*$0.25*)... Before we moved out we went for one last trip on the trail, to explore the woods and look for golf balls. Heidi found the biggest caterpillar-type insect we have ever seen - it was about the size of my thumb. Running down its back were blue, yellow, and red-tipped spikes (?), suggesting excellent fashion sense or a poisonous disposition. Heidi took a sniff, but had no interest in it other than her obvious fascination with the aesthetic.

Heidi's 'signature look' makes me giggle. Which doesn't come easily to me. She's pretty funny.
Happy house hunting.

Thanks! The house hunting has been fun, but we're definitely feeling the clock ticking. There is one that looks promising though... we'll be sure to keep you posted on any decisions.
